Don’ts

Like many mothers, my mom is a worrier. There were many rules imposed throughout childhood, instilled both from fear as well as the general attempt to control a child’s unpredictability. Over the years, they became second nature, without question of whether or not it was deemed necessary or logical. Don’ts is an ongoing textile book of reminders, with each vignette poking fun at the dramatic “what-ifs.”
